Operation Round Up

Current Date: Friday, November 20, 2009

As a member-owner of Pee Dee Electric Cooperative, you have the unique opportunity to let your extra change do great things! Operation Round-Up provides funding for individuals in need and non-profit organizations throughout the Pee Dee region.

Each month, a participant’s electric bill is rounded up to the next highest dollar (if bill is $100.28 it will be rounded to $101). The average contribution is only $6 per year for each member-owner. That extra change-more than $150,000 per year - goes into the Pee Dee Electric Trust Fund where it can be distributed to those in need of emergency funding. While the co-op does not name individual recipients of the funds, other recent recipients include Manna House, House of Hope, and local fire and rescue departments.

It’s easy and simple to participate. You will have the opportunity to sign up as you apply for electric service. If you already have service but are not participating, just come by one of our offices or call us in 665-4070.  We will send you a sign-up form, or you may click here to sign up online.
